All week long, visit local breweries in our area who have partnered with the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation to celebrate the Catawba River – the source of our drinking water and, well – the source of 90% of our beer!

The four ingredients to make beer are: Grain, Hops, Yeast and Water. Good beer needs good water. We’re happy to support the only local, independent watchdog for our rivers, lakes and streams, and do our part where we can. Cheers to these LRB team members and friends who went out (on their day off) and helped clean up the river on Monday! Together with other volunteers, they collected over 25 bags of trash and miscellaneous items that weighed over 725 lbs!
