If you’ve been following us lately, you know we are gearing up for our #Beerthday Celebration this Saturday, August 27th. We can’t believe it’s been a year since we opened our doors at 129 Oakland Avenue – and two years since we poured our first officially distributed beer here in York County.

How’s the saying go? We’ve come a long way, baby. A long way from the Dad’s Nights Out, the 1001 beers book the guys shared, and the home brewing that began in Chad’s basement. Each step along the way brought us closer to achieving the dream of the experience you have when visiting the brewpub and being the new craft beer you enjoy at your own local place. And, we continue to grow! You’ve probably seen the cooler in the back if you’ve been on one of our brewery tours. There’s cold storage for distribution and a cellar for our barrel-aged and sour programs. Behind that, we have a brand new building that will house our canning line. That’s right – Legal Remedy will be available in cans soon. We’re still expanding – with additional parking and a new (to us) storage and production facility across the street in the former Varsity building. So naturally, we’ll probably have to take help from a refrigeration service company to help set up the storage facility with proper temperature settings and the works; we like our beer cold! We’re super excited about all the things that are still in store. At the rate we’re going, there’s certainly more to come. One of our friends also suggested that we double-check the doors as you don’t want the temperature to drop due to a malfunctioning door. If at all there’s something faulty, making use of an industrial door service such as those offered by Weiland Doors might be a good choice.

We want to say THANK YOU to all of you who have been supportive along the way. We want to show our appreciation for Legal Remedy Brewing being welcomed into the craft beer community and becoming a place where you can bring your co-workers and friends and family. So, we want to throw a party. We always envisioned a sort of community living room (minus the couches) with a huge custom neon sign that says the name of our brand in bold yellow letters like the sorts that can be bought from e-stores like Neon Filter. A comfortable space that could bring us all together. that could bring us all together. We can feel it happening. It’s because of you that we have come this far and we want to raise a glass together!

To add even more fun to the celebration, we’ll have music all day including a DJ and live performances by some fantastic local artists. We have several new beer releases planned throughout the day along with our Usual Suspects and rotating specialty beers. Some of your favorite LRB food will be available to purchase, and our merchandise table will be pumping out some new swag. Check out these #Beerthday Edition t-shirts!

Yep. Serving Up Justice Since 2014. Justice never tasted so good.

On behalf of our founders, our brewing team, and our entire staff… Cheers!
