ALL RISE ALE “…now in session”

We made our first batch on the 17bbl system at the Oakland Avenue location! We thought we were going for Alibi Ale – but upping the recipe to the new more efficient system meant some adjustments. What we came up with is a delicious Session Pale Ale a little lighter at 4.9% ABV and 35.4 IBU. Get ready…

All Rise Ale “...now in session” is in limited local release – look for it and more Legal Remedy beers around town including some of our favorites like Millstone Taphouse in Rock Hill and Grapevine Wine Bar in Fort Mill.

Mike, our Brewmaster, has been brewing alternate batches of some of our favorite Usual Suspects including Witness Honey Wit and Motion to Strike Milk Stout. On the 3bbl system we have a Session IPA and a Summer Ale that have been transferred and are awaiting their turn to fill. And of course – since it is Summer – we’ve got plans for some specialty brews including an Orange Wheat, a Watermelon Wheat and a Blueberry Saison. Up next Mike is working on a Legal Remedy Root Beer and Cream Ale as well as a House Cider. We’ve got 24 taps to fill in the brewpub and we are making sure we’ve got a lot of variety for you to choose from!

 

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
While the brewery is running full steam ahead in the back, we’re working everyday to get the front of the house ready for you. The brewpub will be a 2,500 square foot restaurant and bar with 24 taps and a heavy bar menu. It will feature house cured and smoked meats along with a variety of locally fueled small plates.

We have almost all of the kitchen equipment in place and we are awaiting a few last inspections. The guys have worked hard to outfit the bar and the kitchen pass through with some sweet reclaimed wood and rugged shiny parts. The tables, chairs and barstools are starting to arrive but with the last few construction items still going on we are waiting to assemble them.

Outside, the solar arrays that shade our patio now have lighting and fans and our parking lot is taking shape. Soon we’ll be planting the landscape to add some green; and our sign is up out front!
