Last month a bunch of us went to the Craft Brewer’s Conference in Portland – we had an excellent time learning more about the industry, meeting lots of great people…yada yada yada…and now we’re back!
They’re real and they’re spectacular! Check it out – 30 KW of power through three ground mounted solar arrays that will double as shade structures in the outdoor seating area. There is also a line on the roof of the brewhouse which you could see better if you were very tall or had your own helicopter.
You are so good looking…A few weeks ago we planted some hops in our hop garden and look at this baby hop plant! We are excited to try out our own homegrown hops in some of our test batches on the smaller system. We also planted a blueberry hedge and will have a kitchen garden for some genuinely fresh local herbs and vegetables
We are days away from our first test batch on our 17-barrel system. While we are definitely getting closer to announcing plans for an opening date – we still have a ot of work to do to prepare for the best local experience we can give you. Stay tuned, tell your friends – we are getting ready!
Until the brewery is in full production, we are still putting out smaller batches that have limited local availability. Keep an eye out for us on tap at some of our favorite places including Fishmarket Bar and Grill and Grapevine in Fort Mill and Flipside Restaurant and Ledo’s Pizza in Rock Hill.
Gotta go, these pretzels are making me thirsty!
Cheers!
But wait- there’s more -the brewpub is hiring! Giddy-up!
The 2,500 sq foot brewpub will have a heavy bar menu with an emphasis on house-cured and smoked meats and locally fueled small plates. We are looking for an experienced kitchen manager, line cooks, prep cooks, servers and bartenders. Send resume or letter of intent to [email protected] or visit our website for an employee application.
